DWS Helsingborg 2006

Nervous as hell, even thinking about not to participate. I'm standing and watching the other competitors doing their best on the qualifying routes. It's my turn on problem one of four.

Prob. 1: It's quite tricky and I'm not warmed up so an old injury in my finger hurts. Falls of quite early.
Prob. 2:
I was a little bit scared of this problem. It starts with a catch move and thats not my strongest side. But I was gonna do it anyway. It begun as I thought, I missed the hold. But managed to hold on to the starting hold and could do another try. This time I caught it and did the rest of the route also.
Prob. 3:
I think this turned out to be the hardest of them all, not sure if anyone topped out. Well that I didn't know before and went out over the water to fight! Got kind of high, but got very pumped at the top and fell of.
Prob. 4:
Was the easiest and that I'm greatful for, because I was very tired at the end. God jugs all over the place!
Then I switched clothes and ate an banana. Dry and satisfied with my effort. No thoughts of being one of the three to go to the final. Even had thougths of going home, but stayed just to see the results. Then the guy who climbed at the same time as me came over and told me that I placed 3, he wasn't sure but thought so. Then the results came up and it actually was true, I was third. Damn I'm gonna climb again. Going to change for my wet clothes, nervous again. Thoughts as "I'm third so it's cool" "Relax, you got a price at least" " No chance of winnig this anyway" came up. But got angry on my self for thinking those thougts and changed attitud "I'm gonna win this shit" " FIGHT!!!"
Prob. Final (5)
We got to watch the route for 6 min then I was first out. Crimping my self up and doing one rad move while I thougt a belly splash was coming, but managed to hold on. Shit, locked position and tired as hell, jumped as high that I could and touched the third highest hold. WATER!
Now I was gonna watch the other two finalists. The first one slipped somewhere in the middle. Now I'm second, shit. The last guy is up, he who won the qualification round. I thought he should top out but he fell like two holds below me. I won, crazy, stunned and loss of words was my reaction.
